Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.
Founded on Strategic and Tactical Excellence
In developing a business vision for the Northeast Biomedical, Tim Looney sought to establish an effective, thoughtful and nuanced approach to medical device development. Maximizing his years of experience in device design and project management, he identified best practices for strategic device design while identifying and addressing common roadblocks to achieving quality product development on a streamlined and fiscally-feasible timeline.
An engineer to the core, he approached the design of his firm like any intricate design problem, beginning with a thorough and strategic market needs assessment. His analysis of the market found that many device developers were having trouble finding timely, economically-viable solutions to bring their concepts from the concept generation stage to final production. He identified three main areas where Northeast Biomedical could make a real difference in the industry: strengthening and broadening capabilities, adding a high degree of versatility, and providing clients with accountable project management.
To this end, he built the Northeast Biomedical team with a focus on depth and breadth of expertise, flexibility of approach and responsive collaborations.
